What Is Soffit and Fascia?
Soffit and fascia protect your roofline while allowing proper attic ventilation and supporting your gutter system. We install durable perforated aluminum soffit panels to ventilate and enclose the roof overhang, while non-perforated panels can be used for gable ends and porch ceilings. Aluminum fascia covers the exposed wood fascia board and is custom bent on site for a clean, precise, and long-lasting finish.
Soffit Installation and Fascia Installation
Soffit panels are installed by first leveling J-channel along the bottom edge of the fascia board to ensure the soffit runs straight and consistent across the roofline. The panels are then securely fastened to create a clean, ventilated enclosure beneath the overhang. Once the soffit is in place, custom-bent aluminum fascia is installed over the wood fascia board to protect the structure and create a sharp, finished edge. At Good Neighbours Exteriors, careful layout and precise installation ensure the roofline looks clean while providing long-term protection from moisture and weather.
